The first commemorative certification ceremony of the heritage of analytical & scientific equipments
Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers' Association (JAIMA) and Japan Scientific Instruments Association (JSIA) were authorized to establish a heritage certification program for analytical instruments and scientific equipments. For the purpose of telling as a cultural inheritance in history, the technologies, instruments, samples, etc. of analytical instruments and scientific equipments were selected by the Selection Committee members (the experts of industry, government and academia). The first commemorative certification ceremony was held in Sep. 5 in JASIS 2012. The certificated items (20 items) were also displayed as their panels, instruments and their history in the exhibition hall of JASIS 2012. This certification program will be continued for the future to expand not only to the JAIMA/JSIA members but also to the general applicants.
