“RSC-JAIMA Symposium on Analytical Chemistry 2026” to be held on 3 and 4 September at JASIS 2026 Call for poster presentations now open

The Japan Analytical Instrument Manufacturers Association (JAIMA) and the Japan Scientific Instruments Association (JSIA) will host “RSC-JAIMA Symposium on Analytical Chemistry 2026” as part of “JASIS 2026,” a joint exhibition of cutting-edge scientific and analytical systems and solutions, on September 3 (Wed) and 4 (Thu), 2026.

This international symposium has been held continuously since 2011, planned and organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and JAIMA.

In 2026, the symposium will focus on “Computational Techniques in Analytical Chemistry” and will consist of invited lectures by speakers from overseas, as well as a poster session open to the public, in the fields of analytical chemistry and analytical technology. We are now accepting applications for the poster session at this symposium as follows.

To participate in the poster session on the day of the event, registration for the poster session via Confit is required.

In addition, all participants must complete advance registration for JASIS 2026 via the JASIS 2026 website (advance registration is scheduled to open in early July).

Implementation of the JAIMA Travel Grant

JAIMA offers travel grants to support participation in the RSC‑JAIMA Symposium 2026. Eligible applicants from overseas will receive 50,000 yen, while international students residing in Japan will receive 20,000 yen.

Applicants will be selected by the Selection Committee based on the submitted abstracts.
